My Recount with a twist

NO!!!!! Why can’t my Nan go to the shop I thought.

“NO you go!!!” she said in a big loud voice. “Fine, I’m going!” I replied. My nan gave me $10.

My nan told me to get chips, lollies, bread and milk  and I said “okay”. But when I went on the bike and when I got to the shop and pulled out the money it was not money it was actually clothes. When I looked up the shops weren't there. Until I felt weird  I was spinning around and around until I fainted like I didn’t feel the ground.

My nan was so worried about me because I fainted by the invisible shops. This person saw me and she was shaking me and shaking and telling me to get up. She went in my pockets and looked to see if i had a phone. Lucky  I did. Then she rang my nan  and said “Do you have a  granddaughter?”  My nan said “ yes why”

My nan and this lady picked me up and we went to the hospital  they  took me to  level 9. The doctor said that i can see different things wherever i go.  

When I heard that I was so shocked that I couldn't see anything. Then the doctor said that i can go home. I had to Lay in bed for the whole week then i could  go to school.

my Holiday

On my holiday i went to Waikato Huntly. But on Wednesday  my aunty Frances  and my other aunty came and picked me up but I was really sick so thats why I did n't go to school and  I love school  but i didn't do my painting so thats  why i wanted to go back but I was on holiday for three weeks and ever body got 2 weeks off school but that was so not fear. 

On friday  at night time my sister Pace came to Huntly to have a holiday  and i was really happy for her to come beacsue I haven't seen her for 2 years. Pace was really happy to see me because she misses me and she lives far away from us. 


On Saturday my nan came to see us  and my nan asked us if we wanted to  go back to Auckland  and i said "no" because i live up Auckland but my sister pave she wanted to go up to have a holiday with nan and my other sister. 


On Wednesday  my oldest sister Leilani she had her baby but the doctors said  that it was going to be an surprise  then on Thrusday my sister had her baby and it was a girl and her name is Kahlani  and my nan thinks it was a boy so she was say. My nan  told every body of our family.

Room 5's trip to Auckland Botanical Gardens

This is my Collage  about when we went  to Auckland Botanical Garden.  It was so fun and when we got to the forest  we had t think of 5 facts and i had was that the leaves went like this green, yellow, brown,  then the skeleton. Forests are important because the trees make oxygen for us to breathe and they take in carbon dioxide and Tree roots absorb the soil and help hold the soil together.  Stops erosion. If we don't have any bess we want have any food.Water cycle - water evaporates to clouds, turns into rain, rain goes into soil and streams to give plants and trees water. BUT it was so fun.

My Refection

This year i have been faster at my maths like addition and times table. In term 1 room 5 had to do this basic facts test and it was out of 60 i got 60 out of 60 because i was learning my basic facts  and i got faster at it. In term 2 i got 54 out of 100    and i didn’t do so well  but now this term  i got better but we only had a 1 min. All i have to work on is my Division   and  Subtraction.

Maori story

Today Miss thomas was taking  us to the library at 10:30 but we had   lunch and our milk at 10:15, then we lined outside and walked out of school  and we saw room 8,   and they were so happy  and they had this   bag in there hand  but i do not know what was in there.   then we walked all the way to town and crossed the road  and we did not walk the way to the shop  so we went the  other way to get to the library. This lady Ruth who works at the library walked us to the  and we met  whaea  Juanita we had  battle with a another group.  Whaea Juanita was our coach to now our dance it was so cool that  we were  the loud ones  and our weapon was a patu they used it in  the old days  but it was only for the Maori's  i think  we had the greatest time ever  and then we had to make  a clay  thing and it is   so awesome  and then we walked back to school with Jasmine's sister  and she is cool too. TODAY WE HAD A GREAT TIME?

kiwi sport baseball

in the last couple of weeks we have been playing baseball in week 4. First we did was that we were running to the tree and then the girls got chased by a dog. The baseball person his name was Nick and taught us how to catch and throw in week 4 we did was catching the ball it was so fun that we had to keep trying anD then we got better at it and the on the other weeks we played a game last week and the number 1’s they were batting first the the number 2’s they were fielding and we were so cool and we won.

How to describe a sandwich 
 In my perfect sandwich there would be  mayo, ham  cheese lettuce and tomato . My bread will be  panini  and my favourite sauce is  sweet chilli  and it is so yum   with mayo, ham, cheese,  lettuce and tomato.     



First I would  cut the bread  and I would spread  the mayo  on    and I would  cut the cheese. I would break some lettuce off then next  I would put it on the piece of bread   next I would get the ham and put it on and cut the tomato.

My perfect playground  would have  an enchanted jungle theme.  In the middle  there would be a tall  tree with  lots of long branches.  Beside  the tree there will be a flying fox and when you  are at the bottom you can just jump off and you can be in the ball pit.  And  you can play in it.   Think about this what happens if there was lots of sea saws and they were made out of sticks and you can play on it.

How does a caterpillar turn into a butterfly?

The mother  lifecycle butterfly  lays  lots of eggs under a leaf.Then in a couple of days the baby caterpillar chews  the egg  and slowly comes out and slowly finds lots of leaves  and then the caterpillar eats lots and lots  until  it get bigger and bigger after  when it gets bigger  it will move and move  until it finds a stick  it will move a lot  and then it will turn it a chrysalis.In a couple of days  it will slowly turn in to a butterfly.

How long does it take for a Monarch  butterfly  to leave the caterpillar?

The egg takes  5 to 10 days, the  larva/caterpillar  and pupa/chrysalis  each take about 10 to 14 days.

Then the butterfly comes out of the chrysalis and flies away and it makes more babies and it does it over and over again
