Our Speech Rehearsal
I will be talking to you about how gorillas are endangered.
Have you ever realized that gorillas are endangered?. Well if you don’t believe me I will tell you that gorillas are not the only animals that are endangered, for eg. The Giant Panda,The Red Wolf, and much much more. Well it goes like this endangered animals are animals that are in danger of becoming extinct. If we stop hunting animals habitats and everything, animals will actually not be endangered.
Well if you think that gorillas are mad and aggressive well you're wrong, I think that we should stop and care for animals that are endangered. You may think that gorillas are dangerous because the way they look and the way they fight each other. Did you know that gorillas are the most feared animals in the world, but they are actually gentle ,peaceful, and easygoing.
Did you know that in 2014 the number of gorillas in the world was 100,000 and their population is steadily decreasing. There are only 2 species of gorillas, and they are both endangered. Only 600 mountain gorillas are left in the world. Also gorillas are on the endangered list because of the (IUCN), but the only thing is that human’s hunt gorillas because they want their babies for illegal pet trade. In recent years, the gorilla population has also taken as a hit for human diseases just like the Ebola Virus.
Just how many times have we been approaching animals just how much, we just have to stop and care for animals but more for endangered animals like ( Gorillas,The Giant Panda and The Red Wolf.) Have you ever wondered how much Silverbacks are in the world, well 790 out of 100,000 Silverbacks are left in the world and they can only exist in the wild, and out both of the 2 species there are approximately 50,000 gorillas in the world. But however 2,500 gorillas live in the wild.
Have you ever realized that we should protect endangered animals because if we don’t we want have all animals that exist in the world. If we don’t protect endangered animals like the gorillas guess what they do to animals like the gorillas they will kill them and take the Skin,Bone and maybe Ivory for them to make crafts and sell them to tourists. That’s why we should protect animals that are endangered but mostly the gorillas.
When you realized the value of all life, you live less on what is past and concentrate more on the preservation of the future.
Today we done our speeches. My speech was about Endangered Gorillas. I chose this because I think that we should stop endangering gorillas and other animals. The 2nd Picture shows my rubric and what our group rated me.My group gave me feedback and feed forward on my speech and they said that " I should of been giving eye contact".
