Should we change the NZ flag?

Image result for nz flag new flag

L.I: To make an informed choice.Today LS2  had to make an inform choice on the NZ flag.We had to write down reasons why we should or not change the NZ flag. We were spilt in our thinking groups, and  had to make a T-Chart  and write reasons why we should or not change the flag.As a class we had to give our own information about the NZ Flag and the new NZ Flag.

Why we should change the Flag:
We're not part of the British Empire,
It's a new Generation, It's too similar to the Aussie  Flag and more.

Why we shouldn't change the NZ Flag:
It was a piece of History, It has  meaning behind it, It disrespects the soldiers who fought in the war, it has been in the country for a long time,
it was representing the heritage, freedom, and independence,Represents the NZ colours.

As a class we all had to make our own choice we had to tick off which flag should be the  NZ's Flag.
