Google Competition

This is year in 2015 Panmure Bridge School entered an art competition. We had to design a  new design for the Google company, there was only 2 year 7's that entered the competition in room 6.

My Critical friend helps me when i'm stuck with my writing. She helps me by checking my work. My Critical friend  helps me by rereading  my writing to make sure it makes sense. My Critical friend helps me by making sure I don't have to much mistakes.

The toolbox helps me understand my writing  and helps  me how to use the toolbox and helps me understand and improve more in my writing, for example on punctuation I need to know where to put speech marks in the right place in my writing.

This  is my maths on my 7 times table I got up to 15x7  I think I done great in my 7x but I have to try do better  on my 8x. But if I keep doing my maths I think i do better at  my 7 and 8 Times table.

Today with room 5 me and my partner we had to find interesting facts about Ted D"Auvergne because in this story it said that this man was in a pub with some of his friends and they were drinking and there was a train coming and there was a whistle that blew and Ted had to go on the train but Ted he didn't drink his beer. Ted said " Don't Sell it and don't break it". he said that because he will come back home but he never returned home.

ANZAC Day at School

Today we had  ANZAC at our school because someone special came to our school  her name is Staff Sergeant Stacey Lock. Today our school  saw the 30 crosses because  it was the people that have fought for our country.

My Spelling Results

This is  my spelling results that I did  in  my  spelling test. In my test  I got 92%  I think  I did really well in my  test. In my test I got one wrong  and the word was easier  but I'd  just kept on going an I got  it right and right.

ICC Cricket World Cup

This is my ICC Cricket World Cup 2015  task that we have  to find out.  Some of the tasks were easy because you only have to do  a task  that  you have some words about the cricket   and you have to find the meaning of it.

This is my results on my spelling test. I got 14 right and 11 wrong. I will keep on practising on my spelling so I can  get all of the words right  and get a 100%. The new word   I learnt  today   was Dissipate.

The day we went to Pt England.

Today we went to Pt England beach, all of the Manaiakalani schools they went to Pt England so we can sing to Maui's waka and arrive on   Pt England's beach. When we were there  we had to sing 3 songs they were E oho, Nga Waka and He Henore. When we got there  there was heaps of kids  from other schools.

I walked to the dairy and bought  magazines. I also purchased water and biscuits. I went to the train station and waited.  Meanwhile the train was late. I was just starting to get impatient when it arrived. I went home on the train. I was so thirsty I drank my bottle of water on the train. After I finished my water I walked home. I searched for my magazine in my bag at home and it wasn't there. I had left it at the shop. I had to catch the same train again and walk all the way back to the shop. I bought a new magazine to compensate for my lost one. I then had to catch a train and walk all the way back home. For just a magazine I realized that my adventure wasn’t really worth the trouble!
